A beach in the woods in the heart of the Corrèze.

Close to the campsite, the 250 acre Lac des Barriousses offers a sandy beach directly accessible from the campsite, clear blue water ideal for swimming, and pedalo and canoe hire. A little further afield, the Plateau de Millevaches is a wild upland area of heath and forest, criss-crossed by a myriad rivers and streams. This nature conservation area is best explored on foot, sampling the wild apples, blueberries and walnuts as you go.

How to get there and itinerary

From Limoges: 93 km - Autoroute A20 – exit 43, take D20 direction Meillards, Chamberet and then D16 to Treignac. Via the A89 take exit 20, then N120 to Seilhac, then D940, Chamboulive, then follow signs to Le Lonzac and then Treignac.
