Champagne - Alsace

Champagne and Alsace are two regions guaranteed to set your taste buds tingling! The first offers sparkling vineyards surrounded by thousand year old forest and magnificent lakes such as the Lac de Der where you can sail, windsurf, jet ski or simply enjoy a gentle pedalo ride. The second is home to a unique trio of white wines, Riesling, Gewürztraminer and Sylvaner, to storks and to the great art of brewing. Both have much to offer in the way of culture, including festivals and folklore, sites of great natural beauty and historical riches in the Ballon d’Alsace and the colourful half-timbered houses and flower-decked balconies of Alsace, and in the high gothic architecture of Rheims Cathedral in Champagne.
