The campsite is ideally situated in the heart of Brittany: on one hand the Gulf of Morbihan with its beautiful beaches and wonderful countryside; on the other the mysterious world of the Brocéliande Forest. The area is studded with fascinating towns and villages, including Malestroit with its characteristic half-timbered houses; Josselin with its magnificent 3-towered château; Rochefort en Terre, classified one of France’s “most beautiful villages”; and La Gacilly with its narrow, flower-decked streets. And, of course, just a little farther afield are the famous prehistoric site of Carnac and the inimitable Mont Saint-Michel.
