Sited at the northern end of this sheltered bay, the campsite has something for everyone: pool, sports activities and local walks. Further afield, you can sample fresh seafood and visit the oyster beds in the local oyster-farming villages, take a boat to Cap Ferret passing the Île aux Oiseaux, the characteristic cabanes tchanquées - wooden huts built on stilts – and pinasses – local fishing boats en route. Or simply marvel at the majestic Dune du Pyla, the highest sand dune in Europe.
The + points
The heated boat-shaped swimming pool.
The town of Arcachon with its mild climate and unique attractions.
The nearby cycle path through the pine forest.
