Campsite commitment : quality camping in France |

The battle for qualityTraditional campsites? No thanks! As far as we’re concerned, camping doesn’t mean a trip back into the past. Getting back to nature doesn’t have to mean sleeping on the ground, washing in cold water or living without a fridge. Camping has undoubtedly come on in leaps and bounds since the advent of paid holidays in France in the 1930s. But that doesn’t mean that we don’t get just as much pleasure out of it as those first campers did 70 years ago. We just see things a little differently and expect better quality. |
Quality vs. priceAs far as we’re concerned, quality cannot be measured in terms of quantity, by the number of swimming pools, terraces, pitches or restaurants, for example - all of which put prices up. We believe that quality is based on an added value: respect. And that doesn’t cost anything, not for us or for you. |

Camping qualité, a quality charter for campsitesAll 61 Flower Campsites have either already signed up to the French ‘Camping Qualité’ charter or are in the process of accreditation. This charter, the only one of its kind in Europe, aims to provide a number of guarantees designed to ensure you can go away on holiday confident in the knowledge that there won’t be any nasty surprises waiting for you when you get. It sets standards in relation to a number of criteria including: the information provided about the campsite, its cleanliness, the services it offers, its prices, the way it treats its visitors, the activities it organises and its planting and landscaping. The ‘Camping Qualité’ charter was designed by campsite managers, the French tourist authorities and French consumer organisations who carry out regular quality checks. What better guarantee of reliability |
